International Seminar: Cultural heritage 2022

An international academic seminar Cultural Heritage 2022 was held at the University of Agriculture Convention Centre on Monday, 9 May 2022. It was an opportunity to share with a broad audience the Multimedia Catalogue of the Cultural Heritage of Małopolska (ISBN 978-83-66602-48-9) edited by Professor Józef Hernik, Karol Król, PhD Eng, Associate Professor at the University of Agriculture, and Barbara Prus, DSc Eng, Associate Professor at the University of Agriculture from the Department of Land Management and Landscape Architecture. During the seminar there was also a presentation of architectural concepts for the Rural Housewives Association in Szklana, as well as an exhibition of Cracovian lace.

Seminar: Contemporary transformations of urban space and cultural heritage
Kraków, 8-13 May 2022

From 8 to 13 May 2022 in Krakow a scientific seminar  within 'Cultural heritage of small homelands project' under the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange International Academic Partnerships took place. The seminar was attended by guests from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The activities carried out during the seminar were, among others, study tour to Nowa Huta, as well as discussion on potential joint research areas and implementation of scientific projects.

Seminar: From tradition to modernity — the application of artificial intelligence in land use planning

From 30 June to 1 July 2021 in Krakow a scientific seminar  within 'Cultural heritage of small homelands project' under the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange International Academic Partnerships took place. The activities carried out during the seminar were:
  • Discussion of the status of project implementation.
  • Presentation of diplomas to students within the competition 'Unknown Cultural Heritage of Malopolska' organised within the CULTURAL HERITAGE OF SMALL HOMELANDS project — award ceremony with the participation of the Dean's College of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Land Surveying.
  • Discussion of the joint presentation at the International Conference 'Cultural Heritage' summarising the project with the company „GEOMATIC Michał Wyczałek-Jagiełło”.
  • Preparations for the International Conference Cultural Heritage.

Videoconferences with the partners of the Cultural Heritage of Small Homelands project

Kraków, 8-10 December 2020

On 8-10 December 2020, videoconferences took place with the partners of the “Cultural Heritage of Small Homelands” project (financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange as a part of the International Academic Partnerships). At the meetings, prof. Józef Hernik raised the issues of a new research project – Horizon 2020 Framework Program. The meetings were held via the MS Teams platform, Skype, and WhatsApp.

The videoconferences were scheduled  according to the following agenda:

  • 8 December 2020 – Prof. Mauro Agnoletti and Antonio Santoro, PhD – University of Florence and Prof. Marcin Lukasiewicz and Maria Walczycka, PhD – University of Agriculture in Kraków.
  • 9 December 2020 – Prof. MVDr. Slavomír Marcinčák – Univerzita veterinárskeho lekárstva a farmácie v Košiciach and MVDr. Matej Pospiech, PhD – Veterinární a farmaceutická univerzita Brno.
  • 10 December 2020 – Assoc. prof. Martina Fikselová, PhD – Slovak University of Agriculture.

 
Seminar: Cultural Heritage of Small Homelands – status of project implementation, part IV

Kraków, 9 December 2020

On Wednesday, 9 December 2020, a scientific seminar, devoted to issues related to the Catalogue of Cultural Heritage, was held. Details were discussed related to the questionnaire survey, as well as editorial matters. The meeting was attended by: prof. Józef Hernik, dr inż. Maria Walczycka, dr hab. inż. Barbara Prus, dr inż. arch. Magdalena Wilkosz-Mamcarczyk, and dr inż. Karol Król. The meeting took place on the MS Teams platform.

On 26 October 2020, an organizational seminar was held as a part of the NAWA program. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the status of the project implementation and organizational changes. Research issues were discussed as well. The discussion panel was attended by prof. Józef Hernik, dr inż. Maria Walczycka, dr hab. Barbara Prus, dr inż. arch. kraj. Magdalena Wilkosz-Mamcarczyk and dr inż. Karol Król.

On 18 May 2020, an organizational seminar was held as a part of the NAWA program. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the status of the project implementation and organizational changes. The extension of the project’s implementation period and changes in project budget were discussed. The discussion panel was attended by prof. Józef Hernik, dr inż. Maria Walczycka, mgr Dominika Dankiewicz, and mgr Aneta Łanoszka.

Scientific seminar: Catalog framework

Kraków, 5 December 2019

On December 5, 2019, an inter-faculty scientific seminar was held as a part of the NAWA program. The purpose of the seminar was to initiate work on the catalog of cultural heritage. Research teams from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Land Survey and the Faculty of Food Technology participated in the meeting. The discussion panel was also attended by Deans of Faculties: dr hab. Agnieszka Filipiak-Florkiewicz, prof. UR (TŻ) and prof. Krzysztof Gawroński (WIŚiG). There were also present prof. Piotr Herbut and dr hab. Marcin Łukasiewicz, prof. UR Coordintior of Food Technology discipline of AUK.
